Safety Handling and Usage of Reverse Osmosis System

However, even the best Water Purification System needs proper maintenance and house keeping in order to ensure long years of reliable service. A badly maintained water purification system is worse than tap water as it gives people the false security of safe drinking.

What you need to know before you goes out of Long Vacation

If you are preparing to leave for a long vacation of 3 days or more, please do the following:
1. Shut off the inlet valve
2. Draining the system by turn on the faucet and let the remaining water drain out from the tank and system
3. Shut off the faucet and storage tank switch.

Upon returning from your trip, please perform a full start-up.

Full Start-up of Reverse Osmosis System

After installation, change of cartridge, or if the system had not been used for a few days, then a full restart may be necessary in order to flush out the system for safe and reliable operation.

1. Turn on the inlet valve.

2. Turn on the shut off valve for the storage tank.

3. Wait for one hour for the tank to fill up.

4. Drain off entire tank by turn on faucet and let the water run from it until there is only a small stream of water coming out from faucet.

5. Turn off faucet again and begin storing water into tank which takes approximately one hour.

6. Drain off entire tank again.

7. Wait for another full hour and now the system is ready to use.
